Envisioned as a visual ode to Kengo Kuma's architectural legacy, this 60-page redesign of 'My Life as an Architect in Tokyo' is a celebration of simplicity and intentional design.
I wanted to create a design that allowed readers to truly immerse themselves in the essence of Kuma's work, with a deliberate focus on the interplay of light and shadow within the realm of modern Japanese architecture. Through captivating yet simple black and white visuals and meticulous attention to detail, the redesign aims to showcase the inherent beauty of Kuma's creations, offering a profound exploration of the nuanced simplicity that defines his design philosophy.
